Supported file formats
AIDiary imports TXT and Markdown files and exports Markdown and HTML files.
Import existing diaries
Keep your original files. Try importing a small selection of TXT or Markdown diaries and check the results before continuing.
- Check text, paragraphs, and media after importing. Formatting can differ between source files.
- If content looks incorrect, check that the original file opens normally, then note the file format and the issue when contacting support.
Export and check your files
Choose Markdown to use your diaries in another editor, or HTML to read them in a browser.
- Open the exported files and check that the contents match your expectations.
- Use the backup feature as well if you need to preserve complete app data.
