A few useful answers about downloads, data, and permissions.
Where can I download the app?
AIDiary offers native apps for HarmonyOS, Android, and iOS. Visit the download section on the official website, choose your device platform, and check its system requirements. Platforms marked Coming Soon are not available yet. Refer to the download section for current availability.
Read guideHow do I move my diary to a new phone?
When changing devices, first create a backup on your old device and save your encryption key. Then install AIDiary on the new device, choose the local backup file or get it from connected cloud storage, and follow the on-screen instructions to restore. You can also migrate between HarmonyOS, Android, and iOS.
Read guideWhat if I'm asked for an encryption key when restoring?
Diary data in a backup always stays encrypted, and backups don't include the encryption key by default. If a backup can't be decrypted automatically when you restore it, you'll be asked for the encryption key used when it was created. If the backup doesn't include the key and that key has been lost, the backup can't be restored.
Read guideIs exporting entries the same as a backup?
Exports are for reading your entries in other apps or a browser and cannot replace a backup. Create a backup before changing devices or reinstalling the app.
Read guideWhich import and export formats are supported?
AIDiary imports TXT and Markdown files and exports Markdown and HTML files.
Read guideWhat if reminders or location aren't working?
Receiving reminders or recording a location may require system permissions. You can review and change them in your device settings at any time.
